Last week I attended another very enlightening DrupalCon - this time in Amsterdam - with a wide variety of talks about Drupal ranging from hardcore computer science to business strategies and design. Also with a wide range of levels, which, to be honest, didn’t always match the difficulty mentioned on the official programme. So which ones were the best speeches for an all-round Drupal professional like me?

Many blog posts have been written about SEO for Drupal 7, but less so about the specifics of multilingual SEO. What if you have some content translated in various languages while other contents are the same for all languages. How does that work for hreflang metatags and xml sitemaps?

Drupal in combination with some contributed modules offers powerful solutions for improving your ranking on search engines, but having a multilingual website is a whole different cattle of fish.

What if your website sells lots of small items for even smaller fees and you don't want them to have to literally pay every time they purchase them? Instead you want them to deposit money to their account once, which they can then use to purchase the different items quickly. I built a module that does just that: Commerce Account Balance.
